Reading/TBR - Romance Writers Weekly - #lovechatwrite

I feel rather bad admitting this, but I can’t remember the last time I read a physical book (other than a children’s book, LOL). I’m not sure why – a book is a book is a book, no matter if it is electronic, or paper, or audio. I love my e-reader so freaking much, though. I love that’s it’s always the right brightness and it’s light to hold and I can change the size of the text.

This is all a roundabout way to get to this week’s topic:

What are you reading right now and what’s on your TBR?

I’ve been very diverse in my reading tastes lately. I am currently reading Steve Berry’s THE ALEXANDRIA LINK (thriller/suspense with historical legends). I most recently finished THE MURDER OF MR. WICKHAM by Claudia Gray (cozy murder/mystery peopled by Jane Austen’s fictional characters and their offspring). Before that I read YOU CAN RUN by Rebecca Zanetti (FBI serial killer on the lose in the Pacific Northwest) and just before that I re-binged (I just made up that word) the entire Brothers Sinister Series by Courtney Milan (Victorian romance with strong feminist overtones). And during all those books I also listened to the first Thursday Next mystery, THE EYRE AFFAIR by Jasper Fforde.

In just a few days we’ll be on our way to Mexico for a couple of weeks, so I’ve been stocking up my e-reader. My TBR includes LOYALTY IN DEATH (JD Robb), THE MAN WHO DIED TWICE (Richard Osman), ALL OF US MURDERERS (KJ Charles) HIGH FREQUENCY (Freya Barker), THE SUPERMODEL’S BEST FRIEND (Gretchen Galway) and GAME ON (Sara Whitney). It’s not unusual for me to get through a book in a single day on the beach, so I have to make sure I’m prepared! Another reason to love e-readers – I can load new books from anywhere!
