This week's assignment is from Elizabeth Janette: What's on your TBR pile? Welcome to those of you joining me from Collette Cameron. Doesn’t she have a pretty website? This assignment came at the perfect time for me, as Mr. C and I are heading out on holidays at the end of this week so I’ve been squirreling away books on my e-reader for those days on the beach. It’s quite an eclectic list, if I do say so myself. I am currently reading “Whose Body”, a Lord Peter Wimsey novel by Dorothy L. Sayers. These old fashioned mysteries have held up quite well over nine decades, and I always enjoy re-reading them. Then, waiting on my e-reader are: Good Men (short story prequel to “Good in Bed”) - Jennifer Weiner: I haven’t read any of Weiner’s books before, but this was a freebie so I snagged it for a test run. The Dragon’s Heart – Eden Ashe: An urban fantasy by one of our very own Romance Writers Weekly members! Only 99 cents right now. Pillow Talk – Maya Banks: I’ve read Maya before, and this one sounds like fun for a holiday beach read A Duke of Her Own – Eloisa James: I love Regency romances. This will be a re-read for me. I first read it in 2012, but that was before I’d read the rest of EJ’s “Desperate Duchesses” series, so I’ll be coming at it from a whole new angle. The Collector – Nora Roberts: No holiday is complete without the newest La Nora. Sophia’s Secret – Susanna Kearsley: If you love Mary Stewart, you’ll love Canadian author Susanna Kearsley. She has the same deft touch of sweet romance and tingling romance. Can’t wait to read this one. My biggest problem right now – deciding where to start! Now, hop on over to Betty Bolte. You'll want to put her American history romances on your TBR pile!
